Rosemary and Bobby Davis residents of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away within days of each other. Rosemary passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the age of 64 years, Bobby passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the age of 74. Rosemary was born in Caney, Oklahoma on Wednesday, July 21, 1948 to James Acie and Carrie (Hayes) Frederick. Bobby was born in Tennessee to Virgal and Hildred (Jones) Davis. Rosemary married Bobby Joe Davis in Guthrie, Oklahoma on Wednesday, November 5, 1980. They were married for 35 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis are survived by their daughters, Mary Smith of Norman, Oklahoma, Vickie Mays of Arkansas, Barbara Whitmire of Ohio, Shelia Folsum of Bennington, Oklahoma and Bobbie Davis of Ohio; sons, Michael Smith and wife Melissa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Erick Davis and Rodney Davis of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Deliah, Brittney, Arianna, Michael, Jackie, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Becky, Nicole, Carissa, Destinee, Desiree, Nathan, Matt, Rachael, Joseph, Anna, Grace, Erica, Hannah, Sarah, Heather, Josh, Alexis, Raquel, Paytyn and Joanna,
Siblings Harold Frederick and wife Jean of Newalla, Oklahoma; Linda, Faye, Sweetie, Jeanice, Doris Ann and Doris Jean; Vernon Steve and Jimmie.
They were preceded in death by her parents James and Carrie Frederick; brothers, Gary, Leon and James Frederick; sisters, Carrie and Lawanna Frederick, Wanda Fronterhouse, Louise Frederick, Valda Jones and Edna Faye Harris. His parents, Virgal and Hildred Davis; brothers James, Bruce and Alvie.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Rev. Dan McLemore officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Blue, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Norman Johnson, James Johnson, Paul Harris Jr., Shannon Frederick, James Frederick, Alton Morris and AJ Davis.
