Troy Vernon Pitts,80, of Bennington, OK. passed away October 13, 2012 in Calera, Ok.
Troy Vernon Pitts was born on April 8, 1932 in Boswell, OK, the son of Obray Pitts and Hesty (Stinson) Pitts. Troy married Ruellene Campbell on February 19, 1966 in Alhambra, CA at the First Southern Baptist Church. Troy is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clifford N. Pitts and sisters, Lavada Hensen and Lorean Kelso.
Survivors: Wife of 46 years, Ruellene Pitts of Bennington, OK; two sons, Mark Pitts and wife Teresa of Danielsville, GA and Matt Pitts and wife Cindy of Folsom, CA; one daughter, Victoria Simon and husband Steve of Waterford, CT; grandchildren, Jonathan Pitts and Shianna Pitts of Danielsville, GA, Erin Esposito and Jennifer Yuhl of Folsom, CA, April Plante and Kenneth Plante of Meriden, CT; two step-grandchildren and five great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the New Life Family Church in Boswell, OK. Visitation: The family will receive friends Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 6-7 PM at the funeral home in Boswell.
