James and Patty Rich of Bokchito, Oklahoma are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this week. They were married at the First Baptist Church in Bokchito on Oct. 20 1962. James and Pat were high school sweethearts who began dating during their sophomore year at Bokchito High School. James is a retired mail carrier and Pat is a retired behavioral Practitioner. The two enjoy retirement at their ranch and like to garden and grow fresh vegetables. James and Pat have three sons together and eight grandchildren. Family and friends will gather at the couple’s Bokchito ranch for a celebration Saturday Oct. 20.
