The MCSO Fighting Back Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Run was held Saturday morning.
The event began and ended in the Durant Medical Center parking lot. There was a one mile walk and a 5K run to participate in.
Breast cancer survivor, Rachel Greenwood was joined by 12 family members in the mile long walk. Greenwood said it felt great to have all of their support.
“They’ve been with me the whole time” said Greenwood. The family wore shirts labeling their relationship to Greenwood.
