DURANT, Okla. — Southeastern has added a trio of signees to its Softball program during the early signing period head coach Ron Faubion has announced.

Jasmine Parker and Arianna Jones will join the Savage Storm after successful junior college careers, while Connor Harmon will make the transition straight out of high school.

Parker is a native of Carrollton, Texas, and played at Hebron High School before spending two seasons at North Central Texas.

A second team all-conference catcher at NCTC, she finished her sophomore season batting .337 with nine doubles, a triple and three home runs. She also added 37 RBI while slugging .458. Defensively she had just six errors on the year. She was also solid in the classroom and made both the dean’s and the president’s lists while at NCTC.

In high school she was a three-time academic all-district selection and a first team all-district pick at catcher as a senior after starting for two seasons for Hebron HS.

“Jasmine is an outstanding defensive catcher with power,” said Faubion, “A middle of line up type hitter who will come in after we are graduating two catchers.”

Jones transfers to SE after two seasons with Eastern Oklahoma Junior College which followed a very successful career at Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas.

She was a three-time all-state selection at short stop for the Bearcats before moving on to play for EOSC.

She posted a .365 average for the Mountaineers, while adding six home runs, 30 doubles, 15 triples and 42 stolen bases. She was also a dean’s list honoree at EOSC.

“AJ is an outstanding speed and power combination,” said Faubion “She should hit in top half of lineup and could see time in centerfielder or at short stop.”

Harmon will make the move straight to college as a true freshman after a stand out career Turner High School.

She is a three-time Ardmorite Super Team honoree and was named the THS female academic athlete of the year as well as the female athlete of the year awards. She helped guide her team to district championships in her first three seasons.

“Connor is someone that could play catcher or short stop for us,” said Faubion. “She is a power hitter with outstanding arm. She is an excellent athlete with the ability to play several positions.”
