Three Valley Museum will open its doors on Saturday (Dec. 1) from 3-6 p.m. to “unveil the magic of the holidays.”
This free open house at the museum (corner of Main and Fourth streets) will have the theme of “Christmas in Oklahoma.” More than a dozen Christmas trees will feature special decorations depicting the many ways in which pioneer Oklahomans celebrated the holidays.
Entertainment will include the Durant Middle School choir, directed by April Raines. Call the museum at 920-1907 for show times. Russell Cook of MasterWorks Dulcimers will present the sounds of the season throughout the afternoon.
At 4:30 p.m., a special dedication ceremony will be held for contributors to the museum’s 2012 window project. Please join Three Valley Museum on Saturday afternoon for wassail and holiday treats to celebrate the season.
