Carlene Elizabeth McDaniel, 70, of Durant, Ok. passed away on Nov. 21, 2012 in Durant. She was born in Talihina, Ok. on March 4, 1942 to Carl Cantrell and Ethel Keeling.

Carlene was self-employed as mobile home park owner. She was of the Baptist faith. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors are: One daughter - Glenda Cross and Husband Rocky of Mead, Ok.; Three grandchildren: Brock Trotter and Wife Tracy of Calera, Ok., Justin Cross of Durant, Ok., Jayson Cross and Gina of Norman, Ok. Two great grandchildren: Britton trotter of Calera, Ok. and Kanzie Trotter of Calera, Ok. One great step child: Kytelyn Thoma of Durant, Ok. Two brothers: Ed Cantrell of Al., and Charles Cantrell of Talihina, Ok. Also several other nieces, nephews and host of dear friends.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents Carl and Ethel Cantrell. Husband: Calvin McDaniel. Son: David Arterberry. Brother George Cantrell.

Services were held on Nov. 24, 2012 at Farris Baptist Church. Graveside was held at Farris Cemetery. Officiating was Chaplin Lawanda Maberry. Pallbearers were: Brock Trotter, Jayson Cross, Dwayne Eldridge, Justin Cross Russell Eldridge and Don Roberts.
