James Thorten Smith went home to his lord and savior, Thursday January 24, 2013. James served our nation as a veteran for nearly a decade, and enjoyed beekeeping, gardening, wood working, hunting, fishing, and the company of his grand children. His greatest passion was for his family, especially his wife Ann Smith with whom he was married for 46 years.
James Smith was survived by Ann Smith (wife), Jennifer Royer (daughter), Charles Royer (son-in-law), Steven Smith (son), Kim Smith (daughter-in-law), Ladonna Miller (daughter), and grand children Andrew Royer, Nathan Royer, Isaac Smith, Avery Smith, Zayne Smith, Paul Sweeney, Marilyn Miller, and Michael Quinlin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant.
