She helped the Savage Storm to a 3-2 record on the opening weekend playing in San Antonio, Texas, earning herself a spot on the St. Mary’s by Browse to Save” href=”http://www.gosoutheastern.com/news/2013/2/5/SB_0205134604.aspx?path=softball”>College Softball Classic All-Tournament team.
She did so by racking up seven RBIs with a home run and a double.
She also provided the go-ahead runs in all three Storm victories and had a game-tying home run in the fifth inning versus Tarleton State, only to come back in the sixth and knock in the two game winning runs.
Hamilton finished the weekend with a .286 average, but also drew three walks and compiled a .412 on-base percentage and a .571 slugging percentage on the weekend.
