A Bennington man authorities said shot two people to death at his home Thursday afternoon has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Rodney Steven Andrews, 55, was also charged with unlawful use of a police radio, plus misdemeanor charges of posession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $100,000.

Authorites are still investigating whether Andrews was justified in shooting Gary Michael Robison 66, and Bradley Wayne Rader, 35, who entered his home on Highway 70 east of Bennington, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said there had been a domestic assault at the home earlier in the day involving Andrews and the daughter of the woman who owns the house. Later, Robison, Rader and a juvenile went to the house to confront Andrews, who shot the two men when they entered the home. Robison died at the scene and Rader was pronounced dead at the hospital. The juvenile was not injured,

A search warrant was obtained and according to the sheriff’s office, two methamphetamine labs and numerous firearms were seized.

Upon completion of the investigation, a report will be turned over to Bryan County District Attorney Emily Redman, who will decide if the shootings were self defense.

I also believe that the alleged shooter has family, as well. The alleged shooter that has his family and friends that love him as well. The ok justice has proven that it does work ,because the alleged person was not charged with murder because it was not murder , it was self defense.
