Twenty-seven Gymnasts from Big CATS Gymnastics & Tumbling of Atoka traveled to Ardmore on March 9th for their Annual Spring Fever Meet. Competing as a Level 1 gymnast were Kami Swindall, Shelby Gomas, Peyton Thelen, Iley Lambert and Rylee Thelen and together they brought home 9 first place ribbons.
Competing as a Level 2 gymnast were Erica Bridges, Taylor Thelen, Brooklyn Johnston and Alexus Richardson and together these four girls brought home 7 first place ribbons.
These level 2 gymnasts all did an amazing job on their beam routines each sticking their forward rolls and finishing like true competitors. Competing as Level 3 gymnasts were Jacie Williams, Jalyn Williams, Braedy White, Kaytin Hardman, Anna Ritter, Elli Lewis, Bella Rodriguez, Kalli Madden and Madison Spradlin.
This girls swung through their bar routines as if they’d been doing this for year (instead of just a few months). Collectively they brought home 9 First Places and 25 Second Places.
Big CATS had two level 4’s new to their team, Katlyn Swindall and Kaci Swindall. Katelyn scored a 9.1 on her floor exercise adding to her 33.7 all around. Kaci scored 31.6 all around. Veteral Level 4 gymnast, Gracee Cook, scored a 9.3 on floor and 9.2 on vault giving her 35.7 all around while Kerstyn Wardrope powered her way to a 9.4 vault ending her day with 34.5 all around score.
Big CATS had 5 gymnasts competing optional routines as Xcel Bronze gymnasts. Kelsey Hokett tumbled her way to a 1st place finish with a 36.6 AA Score, Trinity Gaylor placed 2nd with 36.35 AA Score, Grace Schanz scored 36.0 AA giving her 3rd place, Maycie Bragg scored 35.3 putting her in 4th and the teams newest addition, Braelynn White, scored an impressive 9.3 on floor giving her 34.8 AA score and getting her to an outstanding 5th place finish.
