NARFE President Paul May presents a check donation to Nancy Ferris for the Three Valley Museum.
Reported last month, the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Durant chapter gave four donations to local organizations after their Thursday meeting on Feb. 14.
Two of those organizations were the Texoma Arts Association and The Three Valley Museum. Both organizations received a check in the amount of $900.
NARFE makes donations to help local groups who help the community. None of the organizations who received donations knew prior to being given the checks.
The two other organizations to receive donations were Crisis Control Center and Families Feeding Families.
