Michael Duane Honeycutt, 31, was dead at the scene of the 1:10 p.m. crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Honeycutt was northbound in a Chevrolet pickup when he failed to make a curve and drove off the left side of the road, according to the patrol. The pickup rolled two-and-a-half times, ejecting the driver.
Excessive speed on a curve was cited in Trooper Jack Walker’s report as the cause of the crash. Honeycutt was not wearing a seat belt.
