The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steve and Janet Beal, Garland, Texas. She is the granddaughter of June Beal of Albany and the late M. R. Beal; and Dorothy Curtis of Durant and the late W. L. Curtis. She is a graduate of Berkner High School, Richardson; Texas, Richland Community College of Dallas, and the University of North Texas at Denton.
The prospective groom is the son of Pamela Carlson and the late Gary Carlson. He is the grandson of the late Mabree and Gloria Wheatley of Minnesota. He is a longtime employee of Volkswagen.
The couple will make their home in Garland, Texas.
