A news release from the U.S. Department of Justice said, “Ridgedell was in possession of one Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Work Target Sealed 8 .22 caliber revolver on Aug. 18, 2010,” said officails.
The report said officers were originally dispatched to the scene to investigate a shooting.
The report said charges against Ridgedell arose from an investigation by the Bryan County Sheriff’s Department and the District 19 District Attorney’s Drug Task Force.
If Ridgerdell is found guilty he may face up to 10 years in prison or pay up to $250,000.00 in fines because he was a previously convicted felon and he is prohibited from possessing any firearms.
