DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern golf is announcing the formation of the Hole-In-One Club as a means to raise fund for the program as it strives to continue raising its level of competition to the regional and national level.

Hole-In-One Club

To kick off the club’s formation, Savage Storm Golf will be hosting the first ever November Turkey Trot at Silverado Golf Course on Nov. 17.

“We are trying to raise our level of competition,” said golf coach Don Hudson. “We are working to become a regional contender and to do that we need to raise additional funds in order to compete.”

The Turkey Trot is a twist on the traditional walk-a-thon pledge for miles program where donors pledge a certain amount per hole as the SE players set out to play 36 holes on one day.

The roster of 14 players will be aiming to circle the course three times on foot to earn pledges on a per-hole basis.

Pledge suggestions range from 10 cents per hole which would total $50.40 upon completion to $3 per hole per player which would amount to a $1,512 donation. Those are just starting points and any pledge will be accepted.

Pledges in the Turkey Trot count towards membership in the Hole-In-One Club.

Those membership tiers are as follows:

$1,000 and up – Lifetime Storm Watcher Member

$500-$999 – Gold Driver Member

$350-$499 – Blue Hybrid Member

$50-$349 – Sand Wedge Member
