Tommy Gene Aschenbeck was born April 6, 1955 in San Angelo, Texas to Bert and Helen (McKenzie) Aschenbeck and passed away on January 16, 2013 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 57.
Tommy worked as store manager in San Angelo and later moved to Bryan County in 1993. Tommy had a passion for dogs and loved to train with them. He enjoyed leather working, Indian crafts and he was very proud of his Choctaw heritage.
Tommy was preceded in death by grandparents Elmer and Faye McKenzie and Ida Mae Spence; great grandmother Maggie Pittman and nephews Pacer Aschenbeck and Preston Torres.
Tommy is survived by his parents Bert and Helen Aschenbeck of Silo, OK; sister Bernie Ann Gill and husband Richard of Deming, NM; brother Darrell Aschenbeck and wife Rigel of Pottsboro, TX; sister Dena Torres and husband Robert of Sherman, TX; daughter Brandy Parker of Marble Falls, TX; granddaughters Hayley Parker and Cara Nail of Marble Falls, TX and many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Bennington Cemetery. Darrell Aschenbeck will officiate. Pallbearers will be Zane Torres, Ashley Torres, Cody Aschenbeck and Cord Aschenbeck. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
