Six Bryan County students represented the Durant Elks at the District Shoot Off in Ada on Jan. 12th.

They shot against students who repersented six other Elk Lodges from Southern Oklahoma. The Elks Lodge local competition had over 2,200 students compete to qualify for the Ada shootoff.

Two shooters from Brayn County finished second in their respective age groups. In the Boys 10-11 age group, Dillian Winger from Colbert hit 16 out of 25 free throws to finish second place, just one shot shy from first place.

In the Girls 12-13 age groups, Mackenzie Rogers from Silo hit 14 out of 25 free throws which tied her for second place with two other students. There was a five shot shootoff and Rogers hit 4-of-5 and won second place.

All other shooters from Bryan County did well representing the Durant Elks Lodge.
