Southbound traffic on Highway 69/75 in Durant will be impacted by construction of an exit ramp at University Boulevard, Durant/Bryan County Emergency Management said.
Westside Drive between Washington and University will also be impacted by this project. The ramp construction is scheduled to begin Jan. 28 and should continue for 140 days.
Motorists on Highway 69/75 southbound will encounter reduced speeds, some outside lane blockages, and delays. Drivers along Westside Drive will encounter reduced speeds, some traffic back-up, and possibly temporary detours. Local drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes and to allow extra time to reach their destination.
“Please slow down and watch for construction workers as you near the construction zone,” said Emergency Management Director James Dalton.
