The Southeastern Oklahoma State University Campus Police Department distributed an SE Alert text message and email to students, faculty and staff Thursday evening.
The alert serves as a warning system for potential danger, according to Southeastern.

In this case, recipients were notified to be aware of a temporarily suspended student (identified by name) who is not supposed to be on campus, but in the event he is, could pose the risk of physical harm. Flyers which contain photos of the individual were posted in the residential halls as well.

This individual was allegedly involved in a physical confrontation on campus earlier this week. As a precaution, additional security measures have been implemented.

The university said that Southeastern strives to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone and urges the campus community to always be aware of and to report any signs of potential risks to the proper authorities.

Where was campus police when TWO football players jumped this young man? We he fought back and got the best of the football guys they go off and say he threatened them. The young man then went to campus police first thing Wednesday morning. Why if this happened tuesday night around 9:30 did it take so long to let anyone know? If he is such a threat. I hope they file assault charges on the football guys. Bet they won't pick on him again.
