Quad County all-star game set for Feb. 26

WAPANUCKA – The Quad County Conference all-star game will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Wapanucka Gym. The girls game will be followed by the boys game.

The QCC includes eight Class B schools from Bryan, Atoka, Johnston and Pushmataha counties. All the girls teams have been eliminated from postseason play, but three boys teams (Moyers, Coleman, Bennington) have survived to the Area round.

The girls MVP is Kylee Themins of Milburn. All-Conference girls are Ashton Belvin and Crystal Tate of Bennington, Kira Head of Caney, Ashton Kinny of Milburn and Tannah Tyson of Mill Creek.

All-star participants include Tristen Allen (Bennington); Kayla Head and Larisa Heard (Caney); Summer Box and Jessica Daniel (Coleman); Kenzie Belcher (Milburn); Shelby Green and Cassandra Manriquez (Wapanucka).

The boys MVP is Jake Dudley of Moyers. All-conference boys are Tad Holt and Chance Haislip of Bennington, Lucas Hamilton and Hunter Evans of Coleman, Zac Couch of Stringtown and Brandon Slocum of Moyers.

All-star participants include Ryan Lott and Issac Perez (Bennington); James Hicks and Colton Stephens (Coleman); Hunter Manning and Garett Green (Caney); Brandon Vaness (Milburn); and Nathan Wall (Wapanucka).
