Shirley Hicks a long time resident of Colbert, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the age of 62 years 2 months and 3 days. She was born in Nacona, Texas on Monday, March 20, 1950 to Clyde and Wanda (Brown) Bigbie. Shirley Bigbie married Truey Hicks in Ryan, Oklahoma on Saturday, November 28, 1970.

Shirley was a woman who dedicated herself to caring for her family. She enjoyed crocheting and fishing. Shirley loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband, Truey Hicks of the home; daughter, Amy Lashell Andrews and husband Chad of Colbert, Oklahoma; son, Truey Duane Hicks and wife Mellisa of Colbert, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Steven Chace Andrews, Tara Lashell Andrews, Jacob Clyde Andrews, Truey Dylan Hicks and Josie Ann-Rose Hicks all of Colbert, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Grace Andrews and Steven Cash Andrews both of Colbert, Oklahoma; parents, Clyde and Wanda Bigbie of Colbert, Oklahoma.

Family Hour will be from 7-8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Graveside Services are to be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at the Garden of Memories in Colbert, Oklahoma.
