Louemma “Lou” Stevens, 67, of Borger, TX , passed from her earthly home into her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.

Louemma Blanch (Duncan) Stevens was born Tuesday, June 12, 1945 on the family farm at Blue, OK to Joe B. Duncan and Ida Shoemake Duncan. Lou attended grades 1-2 at Blue, OK and grades 3-12 in Borger, TX graduating from Borger High School in 1963. She was a member of Keeler Baptist Church, serving the Lord in many capacities.

She married Larry Stevens on February 27, 1965 in Borger, TX.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, November17, 2012 at Keeler Baptist Church in Borger, TX with Rev. Randy Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in the “Garden of Hope” at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Borger, TX.

Mrs. Stevens will lie in state at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger, TX on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 12:00PM to 8:00PM and Friday, November 16, 2012 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. Formal visitation will be Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6:00PM to 7:00PM at Brown’s.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to: Keeler Baptist Church Children’s Programs, 627 Gardner St., Borger, TX 79007.
