Gary Michael Robison a resident of Bennington, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the age of 66 years and 20 days. He was born on Saturday, February 1, 1947 in Durant, Oklahoma to Cobb and Ina (St John) Robison.

Gary graduated from the Bennington High School in Bennington, Oklahoma. He went to work for the Irving Fire Department in Irving, Texas at the age of 21 and proudly served that community for 39 years, retiring in May of 2006. Gary was a person that was always willing to help anyone in need, and was loved by many. He found his greatest joy in the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Mr. Robison is survived by his mother, Ina Belle Robison of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Brenda Robison of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Ginger Robison of Bennington, Oklahoma; sons, Mike Robison of Bennington, Oklahoma and Andy Robison and wife Valarie of Bennington, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Natalie O’Dell and husband Casey, Leslie Jordan, Jenni, Jodi and Jordan Daniels, Cobb Robison, Hillary and Tad Holt and Keaton and Karlee Robison; great grandchildren, Jackson, Jeslyn, Jagger, Tripp and Chuck; nieces, Nicole Allen and Tanya Hall; special cousins, Verlon Robison and wife Janette of Boswell, Oklahoma; numerous cousins, friends and Theda Robison.

Mr. Robison was preceded in death by his father, Cobb Robison; brother, Larry Robison; grandparents, Charles and Avos Robison and E.B. and Maryetta St John.

Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Bennington, Oklahoma with Bro. Roger Speers officiating. Interment will follow at Bennington Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Folsom, Chad Robison, Clovis Robison, Casey O’Dell, Rocky Oliver and Happy Folsom. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Irving Fire Department who will be presenting full honors in memory of Gary.
