Sooner SUCCES to hold conference for families raising children with special needs

Sooner SUCCES, a program of the Department of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the OU Health Sciences Center, will be hosting a one-day conference and training event for families raising children (birth to age 21) and for the providers that serve them. The conference will be held on April 24 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center & Library, 1515 West Main, Durant.

On the Road Family Perspective Conferences are designed to bring multiple service agencies and providers together in one location to provide information on what benefits (state and local) might be available to families. Speakers representing Sooner SUCCESS, Developmental Disability Services, Oklahoma Health Care Authority (SoonerCare), Special Olympics, Oklahoma Family Network and Bryan County Health Department are just a few of the many presenters lined up for the day.
