Polk graduates from Leadership Oklahoma class

OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok. — Leadership Oklahoma, the state’s premier organization dedicated to cultivating, connecting, and inspiring leaders to shape a better Oklahoma, proudly announces the graduation of Class 38.

Pam Polk, Durant city manager, was among the graduates.

This distinguished class of 47 leaders, representing diverse industries and communities across the state, has successfully completed an intensive nine-month program designed to deepen their understanding of Oklahoma’s most pressing challenges and opportunities. Through immersive experiences, participants strengthened their leadership capacity while building meaningful, lasting relationships with fellow leaders statewide.

Throughout the program, Class 38 traveled to communities across Oklahoma, gaining firsthand insight into the state’s industries, cultures, and regional dynamics. Along the way, they engaged with top state leaders, industry experts, and community advocates, broadening their perspectives and equipping them to lead with greater impact.

The commencement ceremony, held May 2, 2026, featured remarks from Leadership Oklahoma Board Chair Kathy Banks-Monroe, Leadership Oklahoma Class XXIX and Lifetime Member, who commended Class 38 for their dedication to service and their commitment to advancing Oklahoma’s future.

“Leadership Oklahoma’s Class 38 represents a remarkable group of leaders whose shared experiences over the past nine months have created lifelong connections,” said Chairwoman Banks-Monroe. “They are already making meaningful contributions in their communities and are poised to continue driving positive change across our state.”

Since its founding in 1986, Leadership Oklahoma has graduated more than 1,900 leaders who continue to shape Oklahoma’s future through their service and leadership in business, government, and nonprofit sectors.
