A time capsule to be opened in 2074 was buried June 14 in front of the Big Peanut at Durant City Hall.

The City of Durant Christmas tree lighting ceremony was Dec. 4 at city hall. Hot cocoa and cookies were served by Durant Church of Christ. Santa was available for photos courtesy of Durant Main Street and music was provided by DJ Flashpoint.
