Bryan County Retired Educators (BCRE) met for their May meeting at the Choctaw Cultural Center. After a summer break, they will resume meetings in September.

Anna Adair and Jaryn Little, both 2025 Caddo High School graduates, have been selected as this year’s recipients of the Anita Jeanette Engles Memorial Scholarship. Adair will be attending University of Oklahoma and Little will be attending Oklahoma State University in the fall.

Last week, State Senator David Bullard, the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office and the family of Deputy Michael Dee Pace gathered to unveil the signs officially dedicating the bridge over Choctaw Road on U.S. Highway 69/75 as the Deputy Michael Dee Pace Memorial Bridge.
