Oklahoma has serious problems with education, health care and over-incarceration as compared with other states. We need to elect serious legislators who want to serve the state and the people they were elected to represent.

OKLAHOMA CITY – January is Mental Wellness Awareness Month, at time to recognize the importance of attending to our own personal mental health, especially seeing the significant numbers of the population who deal with mental health issues and disorders, both personally and with loved ones.

The second deer camp I attended was one that initially started out in a cramped FEMA trailer and has morphed into a full-blown cabin with all the amenities as well as a bunk house for extra invitees.
Awards were given to Kiwanis Pancake Ticket top salesmen. The Top Sales title went to Tommy Kramer, not shown. December and year-end activities keep everyone busy, but Kiwanis Club members keep the spirit of Christmas alive despite busy schedules. Student of the Month awards, Pancake Day sales recognitions, and informative speakers filled the calendar.
