Officials immediately began working with law enforcement and cybersecurity experts to contain the issue and restore operations.Some services — including digital and credit card payments — are still being impacted. The city says it is continuing to investigate and work toward full recovery.

With the ongoing investigation, the City of Durant is currently accepting cash and check only for bill payments at City Hall.
