Colbert FCCLA hosts ATV safety event

On November 1 2023, Colbert FCCLA hosted an ATV safety event with children 4th-6th grade. The students learned the right way to be safe when riding ATV’s and some of the dangerous results of not driving safely when riding an ATV. More than 700 people are killed in ATV accidents a year, and FCCLA wants to encourage our students along with anyone else to always be safe when riding any motorized vehicle. FCCLA wants children to prepared and have the right knowledge so that they are safe at all times. Colbert FCCLA would like to give a big thank you to Mike Klumpp from Bethany children’s hospital.
