KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Exhibitors from the American Junior Shorthorn Association gathered in Abilene, Texas, June 20–27 for the 2026 National Junior Shorthorn Show & Youth Conference.
A total of 971 animals were entered and 396 exhibitors traveled from 27 states to compete at the annual event. Judging the ShorthornPlus Steer Show was Jon Sweeney of Ohio. There were 40 head entered in the ShorthornPlus Steer Show.
The Grand Champion the Prospect ShorthornPlus Steer was WS Westin’s Sirloin Roan ET exhibited by Griffin Behrens of Colbert.
