The Bryan and Choctaw County Democratic Parties will co-host a Town Hall, Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the Boswell Nutrition Center (603 Hunter Ave, Boswell.) Rhonda Eastman, Democratic Candidate for Corporation Commissioner will be addressing concerns about a proposed Data Center in Boswell. All are welcome.

Durant Elks Lodge, 300 Gates Ave., is having a standup comedy tour headlining Matt Ferrell on Saturday, Sept. 26. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 day of show. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and show starts at 7.

Friends of the Donald W. Reynolds Library, 1515 W Main, Durant, will hold their annual book sale Oct. 1-3. The hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. All proceeds from the sale are used to support the Library.
