Durant firefighters put out a house fire last week and the cause of the fire was undetermined, according to a fire department report.
Firefighters were dispatched at 6:09 a.m. May 28 to 824 N.E. Fourth Ave. and upon arrival, everyone was out of the home. Smoke and flames were emitting from a rear window and firefighters put out the fire from the outside and then entered through the front door.
The fire was brought under control in about 16 minutes, according to the report, and a fan was placed in the front door to ventilate the home of smoke. OG&E was contacted to disconnect the electricity due to the amount of damage to the room that caught fire.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 7:28 that morning.
