OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Cody Maynard, R-Durant, was recently named chair of the House Government Modernization & Technology Committee for the upcoming legislative session.
“I am honored by this announcement,” Maynard said. “This committee is central to advancing innovative solutions, streamlining our government services and systems, and ensuring we serve our constituents with excellence.”
Maynard also was added to the presiding officer team. Members of this team preside over the legislative session in place of the speaker of the House during every legislative day.
The First Session of the 60th Legislature convenes Feb. 3.
Cody Maynard serves District 21 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. His district includes parts of Bryan and Marshall counties.
