Southeastern Marketing and Communications Office earns three OCPRA awards

The Office of Marketing and Communications at Southeastern Oklahoma State University earned three honors at the 2026 Oklahoma College Public Relations Association (OCPRA) Awards Ceremony, held on July 20 at Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant.

The Southeastern Marketing and Communications Office earned two Excellence Awards (second place) and an Achievement Award (third place) recognizing work in marketing, design, and digital media.

The 2026 OCPRA Awards featured 622 entries from colleges and universities across the state.

Southeastern’s award-winning entries include: Excellence Award (Second Place) Original Illustration Small Town Christmas Bolt Contributing individuals included Raymond Griffith, digital content specialist.

Short Form Video - Graduate Features Contributing individuals include Michelle Hornbeak, director of marketing; Raymond Griffith, digital content specialist; and Sarah Hughes, instructional designer and multimedia production specialist.

Achievement Award (Third Place) Most Improved Design -Admissions Suite 2025 Contributing individuals include Michelle Hornbeak, director of marketing; Raymond Griffith, digital content specialist; and Dan Hoke, assistant director of communications/ photographer.
