Body

Washington Irving is dedicated to helping the environment by recycling. Teachers, staff and students recycle to help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills and it conserves natural resources such as timber, water and minerals. Recycling also prevents pollution. Recycling material is collected in classes and in work areas of the school. A call is made for students to help take those items to our Choctaw Recycling bin provided by the Choctaw Nation. The third grade teacher group and teachers available at the time recycling is called for help direct students from all classes to the bin. WI would like to thank Choctaw Nation for proving our bin so that our school can always go green.
