The Durant Masonic Lodge No. 45 recently presented a check to Three Valley Museum for the purpose of assisting the Museum in its mission of artifact preservation and historic programs.
“We are very blessed to have angels in our community who understand the importance of our mission and are willing to support programs that will educate not only local citizens, but also those passing through our city,” said Nancy Ferris, director of TVM.
“We are currently working toward a collaboration with the Oklahoma Science Museum in an effort to bring exhibits to Durant which are more ‘kid friendly’ and are geared toward teaching our history through science. The generosity of our Masonic Lodge will help to achieve this goal. We are grateful for their interest and support.”
