Fresh off deep state tournament runs, Caddo topped Bryan County All Conference basketball postseason honors.
The Lady Bruins, who reached the Class A state finals, had the Conference Most Valuable Player in senior Jaycie Nichols while Caddo’s Parker Bearden was the MVP choice on the boys’ side of the ledger.
All Conference honorees for the girls also included the Caddo duo of Kayden Prince and Jordyn Nichols, Calera’s Emma Daniel and Taylynn Conder as well as Shyler Hurt from Tushka.
The boys’ list had a trio of Bruins with Beck Willingham, Noah Bacon and Kale Brister all named All Conference as they joined Kyle Peebles of Colbert and Calera’s Logan Bumgarner.
County All Star selections for the girls were Belle Hookom and Rylan Peevyhouse from Caddo, Taibree Melton and Carlaysia Brown from Calera, the Rock Creek trio of Laynie Knight, Maddie Williams and Macey Weger, Tushka’s Maggie Hunt, Aericca Olsen and Dayla Coker of Colbert as well as the Achille pair of Gracie Holt and Hermione Hagood.
Boys County All Stars choices from Colbert were Chasien Simes, Fernando Arellano and Adrian Clement, Caddo’s Rance Richardson, Zaiden Craige and Talon Rose from Calera, the Rock Creek duo of Anthony Nichols and Cameron Brown, Tushka’s Cleat Zike and Jaxon Gregory as well as Parker Coons and Jaylin Patterson from Achille.
Caddo’s Kolby Johnson was the Boys Coach of the Year in the vote of league coaches with Lori Ford of Tushka snagging girls’ honors.
