Save the date of Thursday, April 24, as local musical artist Tanner Young will be performing on stage at the Three Valley Museum in Durant.
Young, who is a self-taught musician will have you mesmerized with his ability to play multiple instruments. His unique voice is a blend of old-time country with just a touch of modern blue grass.
“Tanner exemplifies the kind of music that most of us grew up on around here,” said Nancy Ferris, director of the Three Valley Museum. “His laid back style, along with the storytelling quality of his voice will remind you of a time before rap and rock and roll washed out the soulful sounds and lyrics that made country music great.”
Young has spent most of his youth performing anywhere he could. He has entertained for private gatherings, music shows like “That Country Music Place,” festivals, in studios, and most recently, accompanying Bailey Rae, a Roberta singer who was a top contestant on THE VOICE during season 19.
The music show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $8 at the door. You will not want to miss this.
