4-H sewing camp

Bryan County 4-H participated in a 4-H Sewing Day Camp held during spring break. 4-Hers sewed a pair of potholders and a table runner. The goals of the sewing day camp were to teach 4-Hers basic sewing skills, how to operate a sewing machine and sew items to be entered in the County 4-H Design & Construction Contest. The sewing day camp was taught by OHCE members: Mary Knight, Elaine James, Patty Christian, Phyllis Bond and Charlotte James and Tommie M. James, FCS & 4-H Extension Educator. Photo provided
