The Durant Police Department is proud to recognize and congratulate Chief Jesse Petty on his graduation from the FBI National Academy — one of the most prestigious and respected law enforcement leadership programs in the world.
Only the top 1% of law enforcement officers are selected to attend this elite program, which is held at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. The National Academy includes intensive academic coursework, rigorous physical fitness challenges, and a focus on advanced leadership, legal, and investigative training.
Chief Petty’s completion of this demanding 10-week program is not only a personal achievement — it’s a milestone for our department and community.
“His experience and the skills gained will directly benefit the Durant Police Department through enhanced leadership, stronger interagency connections, and innovative strategies to better serve and protect our citizens,” the city said.
