The event is by Durant Main Street and whether you’re shopping for fresh produce, handmade goods, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the Magnolia Farmers Market is the place to be. It’s more than a market—it’s a celebration of community.
Locally grown produce, flowers, meats, eggs, jams and preserves are among things available at the market.
There are fresh veggies, fruit, bread, snacks, cookies, specialty plants, seasonings, personal-care products, jewelry, crochet, hand-woven baskets, vanilla, aprons, honey, organic meat and more.
“We have incorporated a kids market on the first Saturday just to encourage the entrepreneurship,” Main Street Executive Director Stephanie Swicker said, in a prior interview. “We’ve got kids all the way up to 15 that our making goods and selling them on first Saturday.”
