Three Valley Museum will once again be offering a look at local musicians On Thursday, July 24, as local artist, Jason Starkey, will introduce us to his brand of music by performing original songs which he describes as Americana, and folk with a twist of country. Jason has performed locally at Lost Street Brewery, Roma, and other popular spots around Texoma. He is best known for his presence at the Welborn Music Company, offering music lessons and instrument set up.
On August 16th plan to attend the museum’s annual ice cream social and membership drive. Performing at this event will be the native gospel group known as “Redefined” . They are from the McAlester/Tulsa area and have performed together for a number of years.
The museum’s music series is reminiscent of the days when the “Little D Jamboree”, which was held at the City Hall’s Auditorium, swooned audiences with local and non local music acts featuring what was then called hillbilly and folk music. These events will begin at 7:00 P.M. with tickets sold at the door for $8. Come join us.
