Durant First United Methodist Church, sponsored by the Missions Committee, held its 27th annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Aug. 13 to show appreciation of their service to the community.
Lunch was provided to approximately 197 teachers and staff from Durant Public Schools.
“We have a wonderful group of teachers and support staff in Durant,” said Rev. John Hiller. “We are blessed to be able to continue giving them the support they so richly deserve. We pray that all teachers, staff and students have an amazing year.”
