Friends of the Donald W. Reynolds Library, 1515 W. Main, Durant, Ok, will hold their Annual Book Sale on Oct. 3nd - Oct. 4th. The hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday. All proceeds of the sale are used to support our library.
Oct. 4
The Diocese of Tulsa chose 14 Catholic churches to host pilgrimages. On Oct. 4, St. Agnes Catholic Church in Antlers will host a Jubilee Pilgrims of Hope Mass. The Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on the St. Agnes lawn. The theme of the Mass will highlight the plight of immigrants and the suffering of the victims of human trafficking. All are invited to celebrate this religious occasion.

Bennington Public School will be holding a Title VI Annual Parent-Family meeting and JOM (Johnson O’Malley) meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the school library. Committee members will be elected for the required programs and we will be discussing school-wide planning. The Magnolia Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through Oct. 11 at Market Square on the corner of First Avenue and Evergreen Street in downtown Durant.
