Guest speakers at the recent meeting of Bryan County Federation of Democratic Women (BCFDW) were Taylor Metz and Zitlali Rosas, representing Bryan County Turning Point Coalition. The speakers told about the coalition’s work as “a community-based partnership committed to creating lasting positive change and promoting the health, safety and well-being of all who live in Bryan County.” Metz is chair of the coalition, which is certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Health as a healthy initiative organization. Rosas works at Bryan County Youth Services and is a member of the coalition. BCFDW meets at noon the third Tuesday of each month except December at Donald W. Reynolds Library in Durant.
