Southeastern Oklahoma State University held its 2025 fall commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec.12 for master’s degrees and Saturday, Dec. 13 for baccalaureate degrees at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
The university said 775 students graduated with 253 baccalaureate degree recipients, 470 graduate degree recipients, and 51 certificate recipients. There were representatives from 41 states and U.S. territories, 12 countries, and 14 sovereign tribal nations.
Within the graduating class, 298 graduates, 38.5 percent of the graduating class, revealed first-generation status, with 65 indicating legacy status which means having a parent or grandparent who previously graduated from Southeastern. More than 91 percent of the class is graduating with a degree in Oklahoma’s critical occupation listing, according to the university.
