Three elected to local school boards

Three people were elected to Achille, Caddo and Silo school boards during an election Tuesday. 

For Office No. 1 Achille Public Schools, Joshua Wright defeated Keith Alexander by 61.86 percent with 73 ballots cast for Wright and 45 for Alexander who received 38.14 percent of votes. 

Patrick M. Miller won the election against Amber Foster for Caddo Board of Education Office No. 1. Miller received 119 votes, 80.95 percent, compared to 28 votes for Foster, 19.05 percent. 

In the election for Silo Public Schools Office No. 1, Bryce Ingram won by 157 votes, 58.15 percent, compared to 113 votes, 41.85 percent for Daniel Brown.
