Josh Perrin was named assistant superintendent of Durant Schools during a recent meeting of the Durant Board of Education.
He replaces Kenny Chaffin who retired. Perrin previously was principal of the middle school. James Pratt, who was assistant principal of DMS, was named principal. Michael Smith was named assistant principal of DMS.
During a special meeting last month, Josh Recer was named principal of Washington Irving and he replaces Maegan Morgan.
